Andre Halkyard is he Managing Director at Focus Analytics. Andre has had a long and colourful history in the industry is responsible for several successful startups in occupational hygiene and environmental space.

Andre began his career in this field working in Australia in the asbestos industry. Further to asbestos, he developed his skills in occupational hygiene having completed many projects in dust, noise, HAZMAT and exposure monitoring. Here in Australia Andre worked in many of the states and for clients ranging from education, defence, commercial properties, universities and the Commonwealth.

In 2013 Andre established an asbestos laboratory in Christchurch to support and provide value to the ‘rebuild initiative’. This as well as national legislative reform saw this organisation grow from two staff up to thirty in under two years. Andre then sold this organisation ow with four nationwide offices to an ASX Listed Company.

Andre has since decided to reenter the industry with the purchase of Focus Analytics.
